I will leave you with some cute monkey shots. These ones were not trying to steal my chips, so they were thoroughly cute!
This blog shows my recycled denim creations, along with tutorials for items I have designed myself. I collect old jeans (a strange collection, I know!) and cut them up to make bags, purses, animals and other items of varying sizes and shapes. I then sell these to raise money for weomen and children in the town of Utange, near Mombasa, in Kenya. I help women to set up their own businesses and am supporting the building of a new school for disabled children.

A thoroughly relaxing day
No exciting photos today, which shows how lazy I have been. I did take a trip down to Nakumatt, largely to withdraw some cash, but also to buy more water, a fifth hairdryer and some odds and ends. Apart from that I have been thoroughly touristy today! I chilled on my verandah, had a good FaceTime conversation with Will, had a swim, relaxed on a sun bed, ate some delicious chips (and stopped two monkeys from stealing them off my plate!) and chilled some more. Early in the evening Sue and Phil arrived. It is so good to have company, particularly over dinner. We have made some plans and put the world to rights.

Sounds good and so deserved. Those monkeys look a bit "pesky" ! X
ReplyDeleteThose particular ones weren't - they were getting things to eat from the trees. The two that tried to steal my chips were definitely pesky though - but I was too concerned with shooing them away to have time to grab my camera and take a photo!
DeletePleased you charged your batteries yesterday. You needed that. Amelia has been looking at the blog choosing the fabric that she wants!! X
ReplyDeleteThank you - yes, I definitely did! Glad Amelia has been thinking about fabrics - don't tell her there were loads more we didn't buy!!
