Words of advice

These embroidery designs were some of the first I used, and I keep returning to them.

Cats...

I love this picture - it sews up really well, and using different colours can completely change it.
The slogan reads, "There is no greater gift than the love of a cat."

Which way to go?

"Always follow your heart".
I love this design - it is simple but so effective.  Hopefully a purchaser will feel the same.

Harry Potter - Slytherin

Another in the Harry Potter series.  This design came from Blastostitch.  It came out very well; I'm pleased with the result.

Stamford Craft Fair

Just back from a great day at Stamford.
This was my first fair with Lydgate Events, and my first "further afield" fair.  It was a superb experience.
The hall was well laid out, with plenty of space for each stall.  As well as a large table, I had enough space to put up a rail on one side and a circular stand on the other.  There were free tea and coffee making facilities, and good parking around the venue for loading and unloading.
The highlight was the constant run of customers, facilitated by Suada who spent the vast majority of the day out on the street encouraging them to come in.  She checked all was well with stallholders at several points during the day as well, but her dedication to getting people to come in was impressive. Even in the morning drizzle, she was out there.
Thank you Lydgate - I am looking forward to my next event with you at Stratford-on-Avon!

Rise and shine bag

This is another bag in a series.  I found this rooster pattern among my machine embroidery designs.  Initially I was dubious - but having made one up I decided it was perfect for this bag style.  I used up scraps of "country style" fabrics this time.  I think it makes a fun bag.

Chocolate...

...is a recurring theme in my bags.  This is a return to another old favourite, and a slogan which often makes people smile:
"Bring me chocolate and nobody gets hurt!"

Here be monsters...!

Another old favourite returning.  Like with the penguin phone cases, I used an embroidery pattern for the eyes - and again, it made the whole process so much faster.
When I last had monster glasses cases for sale, they sold out rapidly.  Hopefully the same will be true with this new batch.

Harry Potter - Huffelpuff

The embroidery pattern on this phone case, like the Hogwarts one, came from Canstralian.  It is a lovely pattern and the results were delightful - and much appreciated by my younger daughter, who immediately claimed this one!
I'm hoping she might take some more of the Harry Potter phone cases back to her university to see if fellow members of their Harry Potter Soc will purchase them.
