Chocolate....

This slogan is one I have used before, and one which is always popular.  I empathise with the sentiments entirely!
"Everything's better with chocolate."

Indeed it is!

Not brown owls, but blue owls....

... I'm not sure such a creature exists outside my sewn creations. However,...

Name suggestions welcomed.  My feeling is that these two are definitely female!

Embroidered bucket bag version 2

Here is the second version of the bucket bag.

Like the first it has a matching panel with a pocket on the back.  The slogan this time is "Cats don't have owners - they have servants!"

Introducing Oakley and friends

More owl bags.  This time I used Chinos, cream denim and cord for the bags.  I like the effect, and the colours certainly match the owl theme.

There is a strong inclination in me to name all of the character bags now - but I will leave it to any commentators to suggest appropriate names for these chaps and chapesses!

Embroidered bucket bag

Along with the tote bags, I made bucket bags (using a freely adapted pattern from Lisa Lam's wonderful Bag Making Bible).
This is the first to be completed.  Once the piecing is completed, it comes together very quickly.
To echo the panel on the front ("Everything's better with chocolate"), I put a panel with a pocket on the back.  I like this idea - practical and adding variety and interest.  I'm somewhat tempted to keep one of these for myself, but I will resist...

I-pad case

My intention was to complete lots of these for the event I will be at today and tomorrow - the E2BN conference at Wybosten.  This wonderful organisation have made The Sure Foundation their charity for the second year running, giving me a stall on which to sell my bags amid some wonderful technology.  Unfortunately I only managed to complete this one i-pad case.  I will look forward to seeing how it is received; personally I love the embroidery on it and would like to make several more.
I made the fastening on this from the waistband of a pair of jeans, so the tab buttons on the back of the case.  It is quite effective I think.
