It is made from cargo pants style jeans, from a child. I was unsure how to go with this; the embroidered cuffs were too lovely to throw away, but there was not enough room between them and the pockets to use them for something if I cut them off. So I left them on - and ended up with a bag with rather awkward dimensions.
