This bag reminded me why I do not like making bags with zips. It needed a border for the zip as the top of the jeans was too uneven in thickness to simply add the zip. But then the added width caused problems with finishing, and I ended up having to hand sew / finish / repair! On reflection it might have been better to use a gusset on the bag.
