Ickwell May Day

What a wonderful day it was.  Held on Bank Holiday Monday on the green in a little Bedfordshire village, the day was full of tradition - morris dancing, maypole dancing, and the crowning of a May Queen.  This was my first time at the event, but hopefully it will not be the last.  It was an extremely successful day for me as far as sales went, and I also had several offers of help of various kinds.  I spoke to lots of lovely interested people too.

The sun shone for most of the day too, and there was no rain, thankfully.  The wind was a little chilly - and strong - at times, but not enough to spoil the day.
