What never fails to astound people who buy these is being told that the price pays for the feeding of a child for a week on the Feed500 programme in Utange. A simple meal of rice and beans on the Saturday, and a bag of maize flour which is enough to allow the family to prepare the staple porridge, ugali. All for less than most of us would spend on a cup of coffee.
