This blog shows my recycled denim creations, along with tutorials for items I have designed myself. I collect old jeans (a strange collection, I know!) and cut them up to make bags, purses, animals and other items of varying sizes and shapes. I then sell these to raise money for weomen and children in the town of Utange, near Mombasa, in Kenya. I help women to set up their own businesses and am supporting the building of a new school for disabled children.

May Makes
My monthly roundup of makes:
Small items dominated this month - different phone cases mainly.
I thought a collage of my sales would also be interesting as there were two this month. Very contrasting weather conditions for them as well!
The next three weeks contain three sales. It would be great if they were all as successful as Pentecost in the Park!
Great collages - mine tend to come out squishy, with the pictures on top of each other - I guess I need to practice collaging, lol!
Good luck with the upcoming sales - I hope you get all the projects done that you want to do - how many zippers did you order, anyways? You should take a picture of your assemblyline and the stuff that's prepped to work on!
