Today's bags have actually been two days in the making. I made the most of some lovely Kenyan fabrics, brought back from Mombasa for me by Debbie. These fabrics are a wonderful linen weight, just right for linings. The weave is quite coarse and I had some problems with fraying as I turned the bows - I had to unturn them and restitch - but I like the results. The main bag bodies are made of strips of denim from different pairs of jeans. Pleased with how these turned out.

I have design plans buzzing round my head for a new bag; I'm hoping to get started on it tomorrow. I'm planning to put up a tutorial for it as well.
What a great way to use old jeans!! Great idea. Thanks for sharing at oopsey daisy!
